An introduction to life

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music"

Of all the quotes I read trying to prep for this article, I failed to find one more provocative and challenging than this one. It is, what I believe to be, the true creed of what I envision for this blog. And honestly, what I hope is part of the legacy of my life.

For many of you, you'll read what I release and dismiss it as folly. You'll say that my ideals and visions are that of a child, and write it off as frivolous passion. While I may agree with you that they are imbued with childish wonder, I would argue that it is important- necessary even, to maintain an incessant child-like wonder of our world. Over the course of this blog, my hope is to inspire all of you to see the world through a new lens. A lens that is filled with fire and passion for life, and all the crazy humans that populate it.

Regardless of your age, occupation, or upbringing, everyone has the opportunity to learn to take off the ropes and chains we use to tie ourselves down, and truly experience happiness and freedom from our own misconceptions. I think president Lincoln had it right when he spoke the words,"In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."
