“And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (Genesis 2:9 ESV) There are two trees since the beginning of creation one brings life and the other death, God told us not to eat of only one of them “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”” (Genesis 2:16-17) and so because of Adam’s mistake we were born into the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil”having no choice but to sin and know good but choose evil and because of that all we had to look forward to is death. “For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.” (Romans 5:19 ESV) but because of this one man’s obedience because of the work of the cross and His great love for us we have been made right with God we have been grafted into a new tree! “But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree,” (Romans 11:17 ESV) WE HAVE LIFE AGAIN!! It’s a good day today because we have a new nature we have the choice to receive what the vinedresser. (“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.”John 15:1 ESV) gives us to feed and help nourish us so that we can grow up and bear good fruit or we can choose to try and feed ourselves (striving) or go back to what the old tree (of sin) which both lead to death. And we receive what He has given us through daily time in the secret place with Him by partaking in, communion, allowing the Holy Spirit to teach us through the word, fellowship with the Father through Jesus in prayer, remembering the gospel and our response to that victory is through worship, fellowship with other believers building each other up as one body! And lastly it’s okay if it doesn’t all make sense right now we’re all still learning how to live in this new tree of life it takes a life time of obedience but it is all worth it when the day comes when we can and will present ourselves as a spotless bride before our bridegroom and we will hear the words (“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” Matthew 25:23 ESV)
Love you all, I hope you all have a blessed day full of the joy of the the Lord and that joy overflows to everyone around you!
